Your Caring Counts

Learning to Lend a Helping Hand
Every year the United Way of Kennebec Valley organizes a community volunteer event called Day of Caring. This event matches volunteer groups from area schools and businesses with work projects in nonprofit organizations in Southern Kennebec Valley. Students take pride in volunteering their time and talent to important community projects. Day of Caring in five local high schools demonstrates that volunteering brings out the best in all of us! You and United Way are working together to make our community just a little better one day at a time!
